To ensure the Transistor SEO Voltage Grant is accessible and impactful for non-profit organizations dedicated to making a difference, we have outlined a set of qualifications that must be met for submission. These criteria are designed to identify non-profits that are in a position to benefit most significantly from our SEO consultation and support services:
Eligibility Criteria for Non-Profit Organizations:
- Registered Non-Profit Status: Must be a registered non-profit organization or charity in the country of operation. Proof of status is required upon application.
- Website Ownership: Must own a functioning website that is central to the organization's mission and outreach efforts. Preferred CMS options include Wordpress, Shopify.
- Commitment to Participation: Able to commit to the full duration of the SEO consultation and implementation process, including preparatory and follow-up meetings with the Transistor team.
- Goals Alignment: Clear understanding of how improved SEO and online visibility could support their mission, objectives, and goals. Applicants should be prepared to articulate specific outcomes they hope to achieve through enhanced SEO.
- Resource Availability: Possess the internal capacity or willingness to allocate resources (e.g., staff time) to collaborate with the Transistor team throughout the SEO strategy development and implementation phases.
- Geographic Considerations: While organizations from any geographic location are encouraged to apply, they must have a website content primarily in English to ensure effective communication and strategy implementation with the Transistor team.
- Reporting and Feedback: Willing to provide feedback and participate in reporting on the impact of the SEO services received, to measure success and guide future pro bono projects.
Application Requirements:
- Application Form: Complete the official application form, providing detailed information about the organization, its mission, and how it hopes to benefit from SEO optimization.
- Proof of Non-Profit Status: Attach a copy of your registration or documentation proving non-profit status.
- Website and Digital Presence Overview: Submit a brief overview of your current digital presence, including your website URL and any relevant online activity metrics.
- Statement of Need: A short essay (500 words max) on why your organization is a good candidate for the SEO competition, including your goals and expected outcomes from improving your SEO.
